Model Search America is run by David Mogul, who LEARNED everything he knows about running a model search from his mentor, Dwight Agnor, one of the most well known ripoff artists around.
Dwight ran Manhattan Model Search in the 80s and David Mogul worked there, took everything he knew and opened his own place. Dwight closed down Manhattan Model Search in the mid-90s as the feds were about to shut him down (Manhattan Model Search has since reopened under new management but appears to either be on vacation or about to shut down again - they have NO open calls scheduled anywhere for the next few weeks).
Dwight started NYC Fame after he shut down Manhattan Model Search to evade the feds. That company, as you will see below has a ton of complaints - 17 in the last 12 months.
So how does millenium model management fit in - well, they were started by a guy who worked with david mogul at model search america. He goes and starts this so-called agency but in reality they make 70-80% (from a former insider) of all their money from selling workshops and photography. A small amount is from bookings and the rest... Get ready... Is from kickbacks they get for sending their models to model search america conventions.
So to conclude - Model Search America started by guy who learned everything from sleazo dwight agnor at Manhattan Model Search. Dwight now runs ripoff NYC Fame. Model Search America former employee now runs Millenium Models with offices in Washington, DC, Kansas City, ST. Louis and Indianapolis (although rumor is that one closed)
BEWARE - THESE ARE ALL RELATED AND ALL SCAMS. Don't be fooled by positive BBB rating for Model Search America - they pay thousands to keep their record good.
