I would just like to forwarn everybody about a company based out of San Jose, California posting fake reviews all over the internet. Ori Van Lines has probably posted hundreds if not more false reviews all over the internet about how "wonderful" their moving company is. Well, I am an owner of a moving company based out of California but I can only tell you a few things.
First off, they were granted their household goods operating authority only February of this year. Second, they are alread revoked and you can view this at http://li-public. Fmcsa. Dot. Gov/LIVIEW/pkg_carrquery. Prc_authorityhistory? Pv_apcant_id=548406&pv_legal_name=ORI^VAN^LINES^INC&pv_pref_docket=MC631869&pv_usdot_no=1724076&pv_vpath=LIVIEW now, that may only mean that their insurance lapsed or that they were suspended for other reasons.
But this is something I found out as well, they have only 1 truck registered with the Department of Transportation and there is absolutely, positively, no way in hell that they could have done over a 9 month period so many moves that have been posted which leads me to believe that every single employee is posting these fake reviews.
I would be very, very weary if considering this company. I have seen it all too often that a company posts hundreds of false reviews and all of a sudden within months they are out of business or change their names after their true colors are revealed. They have 10 complaints with the better business bureau over the last 9 months which is pretty bad and considering it is at an all time low this year in the moving industry I find it hard to belive they are doing all of these moves. Please do yourselves a favor and pick a company that has at least a few years under their belts.
