Jackson Hewitt took our money and didn't file our taxes...
We did our taxes for 2002 with jackson hewitt. They said at the time we finished, that they don't take checks because they were having problems with checks and would only take cash. We gave them cash the next day (of course we have a receipt) and my husband and i asked them did they send our tax return in electronically and the man at jackson hewitt said "yes" and would get our state refund within a week.
Well it's been over a week and after depending on our refund and it not being in our check account after over a week, i checked online at the state refund station and they stated that our taxes have not been processed. After my husband called jackson hewitt, they tried to say that we didn't pay and we faxed our receipt to them.
But in the meanwhile, we're screwed with no refund and no one acts like they want to take care of our taxes. They made promises of services not rendered. Poor business tended to the poor.
