Budget charged over $3000 for some piers to level my slab foundation. I installed ceramic tile a month later and observed cracks in the tile.
They came out and releveled the foundation some more. Replaced tile for $700.installed french patio doors. Dorrs quit closing. Budget came out and releveled again, told me to water and remove trees around foundation? $700 to remove trees and installed timer and soaker hoses.
Foundation is still moving I gave up on calling them after 3 times they just jacked up the piers. Called other contractors and found that Budget just installed some concrete 2-3 feet down like in the 1960 technique.
Should have drilled piers to bedrock or refusal! Cost would be another $3000! Budget was nice enough but did not tell me the problem would go away! Waste of money. Old technology.
