Hi,
I will make this shori and sweet. I got hired into a temp to hire position at kelly services to do what i thought was customer service, So I go to the job and find out its a telemarketing place for medicare marketing for insurance companies.
Whatever I figure I will give it a go,
Well to even keep the job I had to take a 2 week training crash course in medicare marketing 101, and to even keep the job i had to pass the various test they would give after every days training they would give a test the next day. Ok so I passed all the test and made it to the second week. Well over the weekend I decided that it just wasn't my cup of tea to sit on the phone all day and try to convince seniors to switch there medicare around.
So I called first thing this morning at 6 am and left a message at both places, the true bridge place and the kelly services place.
So 10am rolls around and I call back to Jermey at kelly services to see if I can maybe get into something else, and JERMEY is really nasty with me and he says,
well We cant put you into any another positions because you didt work out a two week notice, Im thinking HELLO its a temporary job agency, since when do temps work out any notice, they usually work different places? Besides that it was a 2 week training period. Anyways I just wanted to post this because I think to deny an American a job because he didnt like work out a stupid notice? Is vary UnAmerican and keep in mind it was a training period not actual work, and i was sent there from a temporary service to begin with. Ok now if I worked there say 1 year or even a few months then sure a notice is cool.
So if your thinking about going to kelly services for a job you better like the one they give you because if you dont you will have to work there an extra 2 weeks if you want to be offered another job from kelly services.
