When i recived a letter in the mail with a check inclosed for close to 2,000 dollars i decided to do a little investigating. The letter was asking me to be a mystery shopper it striked my interest.
I called the company and they said that all I had to do was evaluate two local stores and then send a wire transfer. That is what raised a red flag so i did some research which included calling the bank where the check was written from.
When i spoke to the bank they said that someone had gotten ahold of their information and was writing fraudulant checks.
If you get one of these letters I advise you to contact the proper authorities and absolutly do not deposit the check into your account.
