My elderly mother purchased a foot stool in October. The cheque was cashed within a week. The footstool was never delivered.
When my mother tried to call their call center line was either busy or no one answered.
I called on Jan. 1oth and spoke with someone at the Quebec call center informing him of the situation. He told me that the computers were down for the entire week and therefore could not check her order or account.
I told him he had one week to return the money or deliver the footstool or legal action would be taken.
Jan 25th, neither had been done! When I called again... No answer... And the web site appears to be gone! She continues to get their mail order catalogues on a regular basis!!!
What can be done about this ridiculous scam?
