I was charged for an internet people search which was advertised as free, but needed my credit information as security. I had to also agreed to accept a ebay selling CDs by mail... And right away I called the number on the screen I was one, and tried to cancel, but the person who answered said I could cancel when the product came. There was no phone number to call to cancel, but I immediately had pornographic email that had an attached photo that was also a pop-up on my task bar when my computer came on line. I'm throwing away the CD's since I'm certian they also contian porn.
Then when I looked at my credit card bill on line, there was an $18.95 charge from the web. Site that I have inclued in this report. The phone number wasn't compete either. But I went to Rip Offs... And found it by pasting part of the web address... Without the numbers. There I found that this is a fraudulant company that is manipulateing information to get credit card information. I was searching for a way to fight another scamer with the people search. Now I must contact Bank America, and dispute this fraud!
