We realized when the movers had left that we were missing a tv. They said all we can do is confront the guys who moved you. Okay, so we are still out our tv. If you hire these guys, make sure you watch their every move so your belongings don't magically disappear!
The bad part is that we had used them to put our items into storage and planned to help promote their business after moving the items out of storage. We are involved in real estate and actually have clients ask us all the time about good movers. Well, they are definitely on the 'do not call' list!
It's all about karma baby! You take my tv, you don't make it right, I tell people, and you get a bad reputation!
Nobody likes a thief, especially when it comes to their moving company! The owner could have at least refunded our money! Now it will cost him waaaay more, (yes, waaaay more) not only in our lost referrals, but now in lost business from even more informed customers.
This guy should spend more time researching his movers and might want to think about background checks. From now on I will definitely not try to go 'cheap-cheap'!!!
