I received several letters in the mail today regarding my credit card debt. Ferguson & Snyder, a debt mediator, indicate in their letter to me to do research on credit negotiation firms, which led me to these discoveries:
1. According to Pennsylvania corporate records, Larissa MacDonald is the official legal processor of Ferguson & Snyder.
2. Larissa MacDonald just incorporated the business called Ferguson & Snyder in late August.
3. The phone number for the company, as listed on their website, 724-757-2022 is a cell phone number.
4. The company name of Ferguson & Snyder is not included in any accredited business search sites.
I called Ferguson & Snyder multiple times to discuss my credit issues, and have yet to hear back from anyone in the company. I also sent an email to the address I got from the website, and it was returned to me as undeliverable.
In summary, with all of the things you hear in the news about credit scams, the only conclusion I have come to after my research is to check out who you're dealing with and I will certainly not be using a fly by night company. Buyer beware!!
