The other night, I went to pick up my husband from the restaurant he works in. I know all the servers and managers, and I usually go help him roll his silverware, which no one has ever had a problem with before.
That night, a dishwasher had left my father in law alone to do all the work by himself, and my husband went to the back to help him. Another waiter started yelling at his dad for not working fast enough. My husband yelled back at the guy, telling him they were busy and not to bother them.
The other waiter complained to the manager, and said (this is when i walked in) "I'm not gonna take that s* from some passive little b* like (my husband).
I did not swear, or get aggressive. I heard this person insult my husband, and said "Hey!"
The MANAGER turned, and said "F* you, [my name], get the f* out of this restaurant! F* off!!!"
Did i deserve this kind of treatment? I am not an employee, so technically i was a customer when she treated me like this.
When my husband reported her to the store owner the next day, the manager that yelled at me said she was justified, b/c i had been "instigating" another fight.
