Sharon from KidfriendlyOnline.net contacted me to advertise with her company. After speaking to her on the phone for a while, I agreed to pay her $100 to join her network. I was told that a child reporter from a local school would write a report about my children's entertainment company after experiencing a donated event to his school. She also agreed to build a webpage to promote my company.
The webpage was finally built after a tremendous amount of back and forth which included many unreturned calls and emails. Then it took two months before she was made any progress in getting us hooked up with a "kid reporter". Then there was more downtime, in which she ignored us. We never made any progress on the reporter writing a review of my company.
After another few weeks, I expressed my frustration to Sharon (who was very difficult to get a hold of). Since the "kid reporter" aspect of the KidFriendly website was the main benefit of joining her website, I was not happy it was taking so long to coordinate something. She offered to give me another 3 months of membership to give her a chance to make good on her original promises.
I agreed but we never made any progress on arranging a donated event to the reporter. I finally asked Sharon (per our original agreement) for a full refund. She conveniently didn't return my calls or emails. The she was out a town, and an employee supposedly was processing my refund. I have emails stating that Sharon approved the refund, but now it is more than 3 months after I was told the refund was processed and I have yet to see anything.
At this point, I cannot get a hold of Sharon by phone or email... And I have pretty much given up.By now I realize she never had any intention of making good on her promises but was just scamming me the entire time.
