I ordered a custom made gown, gave them measurements, taken by a seamstress. Therefore, measurements were dead on!
Long story short, the dress comes, beautiful dress! It can not be worn because the top of the dress was made completely different on both sides. It is a V neck gown and therefore, seamstress can not even fix it, unless of course I want the V down to my belly button.
After arguing with them about a refund, as I needed a gown for my daughter's wedding in less than 4 weeks, they refused, told me I could order another gown. Firstly, why would I want another gown from a company that sends out garbage??!!?? I didn't have time to take a chance on possibly the second gown would be made correctly or that I would even get it in time for the wedding.
I wrote to the Better Business Bureau, they sent the complaint to nexteve.com, their response being "custom made dresses are not returnable". Well no place in their return section on their site does it say "our dresses are made improperly, you will not be able to wear it, but it will look fantastic on a hanger"!!
So I am out 250 bucks and learned a hard, valuable lesson.
Hopefully this will help some other poor gal from going through the same dissapointment, grief and loss of money.
