My phone went ouf around August 1. Verizon finally appeared to try to repair it last Wed., 8/6. They said the circuit was bad somewhere outside the house and someone else would need to do that work. A second repairman arrived Sat., 8/9 and worked on outside lines. My phone was left as dead, but the repairman apparently closed the trouble ticket because there is no longer a record on Verizon's web site. So, I had to begin from square 1 tonight and place another trouble report on-line, which is the only way to do it. The first repair date is 8/18!!!
