Several months ago I asked for and received a "mail in" envelope from Cash4Gold. I was told it would arrive in 3-4 business days. It arrived almost 3 weeks later. I put my jewelry in the envelope and sent it to Cash4Gold. Keep in mind that I had already taken the items to a pawn shop but didn't sell them because the price offered was very low because they really didn't want to buy more jewelry at that time. I can understand that, which is why I sent the jewelry to Cash4Gold. Despite their claim of the customer receiving a check in a few days, my check, in the amount of $28 and change, was not received for 3 months. I thought the original envelope had perhaps gotten lost in the mail and I called Cash4Gold and was told my claim had been processed. The processing date was about a week after I mailed the envelope. Given the postal system and weekends, I did not have a problem with that. I cannot understand the difference in what the pawn shop offered versus what I received from Cash4Gold. The pawn shop offered me $75.00, and even stated it was extremely low because they were not really interested in buying jewelry at that time. Unfortunately, the shop went out of business about 3 months later. I have no idea what took so long for the check to arrive. I called several times and each time I was told my check had been processed. After 2 months of waiting and calling, I gave up.By the time the check did arrive, the return period had expired so I felt like I was screwed and had no recourse.
