Searched for information about grants and saw this ad for $1.98 CD for grant information. A confirmation email had wrong zip code for shipping address. Tried calling, to no avail, so sent email correcting zip and got no response! Needless to say, no CD arrived, but was charged $1.98!
Now I have a charge for $69.95; actually got to talk to someone who says "didn't cancel during 7-day trial membership". Their confirmation of order never mentioned any additional charges after 7-day trial period (I've saved it for reference)! They agreed to cancel 'membership' but I had to call another number to get 'refund'.
Tried that number, but got no satisfactory answers; they say they didn't enter any charges! I'm disputing this $69.95 with my credit card company as I've already paid the $1.98 for nothing; thegrantuniversity won't get away with this! BEWARE - they'll rip you off without batting an eyelash!
