I went to Wagner-Dean in February to seek help in this depressed job market. Mr. Harry Wagner said it was not the job market but where to look for jobs. Mr. Wagner implied, with his help, he could market me and my resume and find me a job by April. I paid $800 for their service.
What they do is, they pay one of the major resume blasters $75 to blast (my) resumes out to 5,000 organizations. Except for changing my 2 page resume, which I wrote, to a one page resume, they did absolutely nothing I could not do myself. Mr. Wagner makes it sound like they have a magic formula or hidden job market searches to help you get a job.
I received only one decent interview from a resume sent from Wagner-Dean (which of course was not really from them, but from the resume blaster service). Through networking over the last year, I have met at least a dozen people in the Dallas area that had signed up with them on or about the same time I did at around the same price they charged me, with the same results. None!!!
Do not use this company for a job search, they are fraudulent!!!
