I purchased clothing from them once in Nov. 2007. I needed to return some of the items. It took 3 monthes to credit my c. Card for the items. You cannot reach them by phone. They took 3 monthes to e-mail me back. I e-mailed them on several occasions about refunding me for my returned items. This morning I was checking my bank accounts online and saw on 7/2/08 a purchase for $69.99 from ClassicCloseouts.
I did not order anything from them. I sent them an e-mail requesting they reimburse me. I then read on the internet that several people who ordered from them in the past were recently charged $29.99, $49.99 and $69.99. I then realized I have been scammed and it wasn't an error. Someone from that "company" who has our card info is making unauthorized charges. They are making small charges in hopes you won't notice.
Do not order anything from them! I deleted my c. Card info from their website and contacted my bank. I canceled my card so they couldn't make any more charges. I made a dispute with my bank against their unauthorized charge. The bank will dispute the company's charge for 90 days and then I am out of the money. I rarely ever order anything from the internet because of the fear of being scammed. Now I will make sure I research the company before I order anything over the internet again!
