I purchased lots of hand-tools from Sears centered on their lifetime guarantee in case anything fails and requires alternative. Well my Craftman rachet wrench (the main one having a circular button used-to generate little sockets) smashed yesterday and that I got it towards the Eastland Mall in Charlotte to obtain a substitute. The people in the return table stated no method given that they do not make them anymore. After an escalation towards the division supervisor called Robin Carlton, she'd not provide mean equal wrench which includes a rachet and an extention - alternatively provided me a little rachet wrench which doesn't dome worthwhile with no extension. I declined to purchase the extension from Sears and later purchased one from Husky device instead. It is just a few bucks to purchase an expansion pole however the encounter left a bitter flavor in my own mouth. The prolonged delay, the go or abandon it perspective of these Sears workers increase the proven fact that the Sears Craftman device lifetime guarantee is actually useless. I would contact the Sears Customer Connection department to protest but after studying the horror tales about them I Have didn't spend my period. Alternatively I Have didn't actually purchase from Sears again.
