Went to see Phil Jr. (the owner's son) at Southside Tattoo to get an estimate on fixing my back piece. He said he would have no problem doing it and making it look good for $1500.00 total, up front to make sure he would finish it. He also "claimed" he was going to put the tattoo sessions on MTV and "he'll kill it" aka make the tattoo look great.in January we scheduled a time to come in to the shop and did a 6-hour sit down with a $100 tip.
About 3 weeks later after my back healed, we scheduled another sit-down with him and did a 4-hour with a Starbucks and $40 tip. One month after that, I made an other appointment with Phil Jr. To come in at 5pm during the week after work and 3-hours later he never showed up and never called. I have drove my personal car at least 10 times (2 miles each way) to talk to Phil Jr. And get him to commit to a time when I can get more of my back piece worked on. He has blown me and my husband off every time we call his work telephone and 6 months later, there has been ZERO progress on my back piece. He says he's been sick and had family problems, and now he opened up another tattoo shop call 405 Ink Tattoo in Moore, OK and changed his phone number and doesn't even tell any of his current or ongoing customers that he has moved shops.
Besides wanting him to complete what he started AND what I PREPAID for, he continues to tell me that he will call me and schedule an appointment and never calls. My husband and I took the day off of work to go and see if Phil Jr. Would work on me, and he tells us after 5 hours of not answering his phone that he is mad at us because I had another tattoo artist do a totally different tattoo on my arm and he wanted to do it, so he's upset at that fact. SO still... Nothing has been done and now I have a mad tattoo artist at me for something childish who I can't depend on that is even going to finish that tattoo he started, but I don't know if he will even do a good job or not hurt me while doing it!!!
All I want from Phil Jr. Is a completed job and for him to do what he says he is going to do. $1500.00 down the drain, and at the mercy of a flake. That is not right or FAIR!!!
