Earlier this year I got laid off from a real estate construction company in California. It's no secret that the real estate market is in the tank. Anyway, I posted my resume on every website I could think off. I have been making about six-figures, and wanted to see if I could stay in my field and do better. I was contacted by Dana B. Gaul of Quest Job Search. Their website is http://www.questjobsearch.com.
He seemed really interested in my background and took a lot of time with me. He kept talking about how his firm was looking to help executives who had a passion for what they do.
He said Quest Job Search only accept for their placement programs 1 out of every 10 job hunters who contacted them. The program he sold me cost thousands of dollars, but he said it would pay for itself but helping get a job quicker than I could get on my on.
What sold me was these fancy TV video's he has on his website. They looked great. Dana B. Gaul even told me he could get me a job in Kuwait rebuilding the country. He said that there was still a lot of work to be done, even though the first gulf war was along time ago.
Now I realize, what other people have probably said about this company. It's a ripoff!!! Those fancy TV video's are probably paid advertisements for his company. I got no results.
Basically, I got a new resume from Quest that wasn't much better than my own. They then gave me printouts from databases that supposedly were the key to unpublished jobs. I tried to follow their program, but they made me do all the work on my own. I still don't have a job!!!
I did some research on this firm on the internet. I found out that Dana B. Gaul use to work with someone named Charles Dimon, whose horrible track record in this field speaks for itself. I found these links:
Stay away from this firm. If you get a phone call from 949-660-0212, or a fax from 949-660-4989, and it's Dana B. Gaul, run away as fast as you can. It's a scam!!!
