We ordered some slippers for my husband from an ad we saw in our sunday newspaper.
A check was written for $10.90 and was sent October 8. I got the check back in my statement, and it is now December 1, and we haven't heard a thing from them and haven't received the slippers.
I am sure we have been deceived and ripped off. This is the first time it has ever happened to us.
I am very dissapointed, and also feel the newspaper should check out the people they allow to advertise/sell to their subscribers!
I hope you can make sure they no longer are able to do this in the states. I think they are based out of Canada, since one of the banks on the check is Montreal Quebec!!!
