Chic et mode claims to "hand-pick" their items directly from the designer. Raeann Hess, the lying owner, lies to her customers, telling them that she travels to Paris and Milan and Istanbul to purchase the items she sells. This is not true at all. She buys everything she sells from China. Most of it is bought from online and then resold to the consumer at 300% more. She also buys some of the items from your local TJ Maxx store and resells them to you claiming that they are "one-of-a-kind" items.
Raeann Hess also has been known to bounce numerous paychecks as well as not paying her employees for the time they work. She also does not pay the online companies that she orders thousands of dollars of merchandise from.
BEWARE! If Raeann Hess from Chic et Mode contacts your company to buy products from you, DO NOT let her. She won't pay you for the items. She will continually ignore your phone calls and e-mails until you are forced to hand the problem over to the collectors.
