I was driving home last Thursday after work and decided I was going to stop at Target. I had heard the weather was reporting a snow storm for Friday and into Saturday; I was looking around for Christmas gifts and found more that expected and spent 215.64 that day.
I was home enjoying being in a warm safe place while it was snowing outside. I than found a Target coupon/flyer that must have come in the mail. I was looking thou it for the great deals they have. I than found a free $15.00 gift card with the purchase of 150.00 or more coupon. Shoot I was just there.
I stopped by today and showed a target employee at the return counter that I was just in last week and didn’t realize I even had this offer. She said I wasn’t able to get the free $15.00 gift card because I either had to have it with me that day or I could have brought it back on the day of purchase.
I live 30 mile away from target, so 60 mile round trip was not going to happen, the gas was not worth driving back and forth. I don’t understand why they just could have giving me the card on day of the sale or let me know that I would have at least one week to get the card with the receipt as proof.
I drive by target every day; I am thinking of returning everything I got and re buy it just to prove my point. Or return it all and go someplace else to get what I need.
Better yet I can go to Wal-Mart from now on! It too is on my way home.
