I entered in to a contract with Universal Gas & Electric. I was mislead as everyone else was about being locked in and saving money. Termination fee is 200 dollars which in the month would pay for itself, because now I'm paying double for my gas. It's clear the representatives pull any figure they want out of the air, to keep you from terminating early.

Reports have been filed with the MPSC, and I've been informed that a hearing has been requested with the 3 commissioners that can revoke their license to conduct business. The intention is to have them wave the the termination fee and to have the difference refunded quickly. My thoughts are as they have not been cooperative in the past, they will put lipstick on this pig and dump the company or file chapter 11. Get your money while you can! We are in a position to get our money back because they have not lost their license yet.
