Today i made the mistake of signing up for singlesnet.com, an online dating service. I payed the $24.95 using my debit card. I then attempted to upload a photo and a statement popped up saying it was being reviewed. When i returned later the picture was not there. I uploaded it two more times and both times it failed to show up in my profile.
I wrote to their customer service department. They sent a form letter stating that pictures of sexually explicit nature are not allowed. I was shocked. The picture is a photo of me without a shirt. My face, neck and shoulders are visible as are the top of my pectoral muscles. No nipple is showing.By what backward third world standards is my picture pornographic? What kind of strange culture did my $24.95 go to? Is this how all american companies operate these days? They have an office in ma but customer service must be in a muslim country. Singlesnet sucks!!! I will reverse the charge on my card but i'm out over two hours of wasted time. Do not give these puritanical freaks your money!!! The customer service is definitely not in a "free" country. These people are repressed beyond belief. I do not support their prudishness (and warped religion?) and will not support them financially in any way.
