December of 07 I purchased our French bulldog. I found Susan Patterson (also goes by S P) on a website and am sorry to say did not do any further research. I sent Susan an email and then agreed to meet her in a parking lot. I purchased the dog on the spot. He was dirty and she said that she also bread horses and that he had been running around in the dirt. The dog was extremely timid and never really adjusted to our family.
In that month he also began throwing up... A lot. The vet put him through all sorts of treatments. Changing his food, Pepcid AC, other medications and then surgery. None of which resolved his problem. I was also trying to contact Susan and getting second opinions from other vets. She refused to refund any money or take the dog back. She proposed I put him up for sale and never returned my calls after that conversation. Thousands of dollars later, I made the decision to give him up to the French Bulldog Rescue. I was out of money and still did not have a cure for him. This was a huge loss to our family and was a terrible decision to have to make after having him for a year.
I started researching her operation online and came across others who had suffered even worse situations with this woman. One had aparently had to put her dog to sleep because of its illness. I also found out that my AKC papers are fake.
I hope this woman is never able to make another dollar on an innocent Frenchie. Buyers beware!
