Thanks to this web site I saved myself some cash by checking up on letters similar to my incident. I recieved a letter from the El-Combo stating I had won a large sum of money.in the 3rd category of their lottery. I had supposedly won 612,810.00 euros. From a total of 7.509.720.00 shared between 12 other international winners in there respective catergories.
It states that due to a mix up of some numbers and names the results were released on Friday 28th March. The draw suposedly took place on Wednesday 27th Feb.
The letter states that the fund is deposited with a security company and insured in my name. Due to the mix up of some numbers and names they ask you keep this award from public notice until the claim has been processed and money remitted.
To claim this money I was to contact claims agent Don Antonio Roberto and fax claims form with bank details with copy of passport or drivers license.
This letter seems to be a fraud as I have not bought a ticket in this lottery. The way the letter set out is very similar to others that have been reported on.
Thanks again to this site
