My daughter was featured in the 2006 edition of Who's Who Among Outstanding MIDDLE School Students, and we had no problems with the purchase. Once again we were contacted by KGLA Publishing in and we filled out all of the information and sent payment of $120 dollars in October. I didn't hear anything from the company. I started calling and checking online beginning in January. I left many, many messages and never had my calls returned. This was so unlike the experience I'd had the previous year.
Today when I called, the phone was not answered, and the answering machine didn't pick up. The phone just disconnected itself after numerous rings. I checked the website, and it is not found. After browsing around, I found this consumer complaints. I am so disappointed and so is my daughter. She had been so proud of her picture and biography being in last years book, and now she feels hurt and dupped. She is a straight A student, and she now feels like she and her parents have been taken advantage of. She feels responsible for us losing our money, because it was purchased to commemmorate her good grades. Shame on you kgla publishing!!!
