My husband orderd a dozen roses that were suppose to be in an elaborate arrangement. I would have been happy had they been fresh. They were starting to get brown upon the very late delivery. They promised 8am. They did not arrive till after 3pm. I had to call and go out and find the delivery person. They were deliverd in a standard vehicle not designed for flowers. Looked like they had been in the hot pick-up truck all day. The next day of course they were all dead and I called to have more sent. They did not have anymore roses so they sent two small tulip arrangements which were wired by the stems because they were already wilting and of course they broke off within a few hours. They should last at least a week not only a couple of hours before they break. I bought flowers from the store that were only $2.95 and it has been over a week and the stems are still straight that do not require any wires to make them look fresh. I only asked that the replacement flowers be fresh and a less expensive substitution was fine. But on the second try Nellies did not come through. Only very old wilted replacements. My husband spend $100 and did not get what he paid for in anyway. The flowers are not fresh by any means and it was so sad to see these flowers wilt before my eyes and break. I do not know what they do to their flowers but I have never seen such a sad display of flowers in my life. It looked like they had been poisened. I have my own garden of roses and have never seen anything die like that before. Never order flowers from Nellie's. If you want fresh live flowers go some place else and save your money and heartache.
