G. Atkins Trucking of AuSable Forks, NY ripped me off by under-quoting and misleading me for trucks loads of logs and chips cut off my property. I have 44 acres and only 1/3 of it was to be cleared of under brush along the property line and many large trees to be cut down as well.
He hauled large box-trucks full of chips and quote me only per box truck not by the ton. The quote was a regular box truck per load not for an over load size box truck.
For the logs that he cut, he was only willing to pay me for an average load which he called firewood grade only per truck load not by the ton. This was top grade large logs that could be used as lumber. Being quoted per truck load is okey as long as it is not an over load size truck.
I am not done with this G. Atkins Trucking Company. Not a good way to do business. I hope no one else gets ripped out as I did.
