I put the name in the serch engine and saw the ripoff site. I started to read and it was like reading my life, with this and many other magazine outlets opening line. I thought I was the only one Ha! These people are crafty saying they are with the magazine co. You had placed your order withand just have to verify your card number. I am no Kid and have been around but I am on strong pain meds and it took me awile to figure out what they were doing. Me like many others sent the magazines back tried to get the charges taken off my card ect. The card companies will credit your account but the magazine warehouses will still rebill many month's later and you have to go through it again.
Even if you cancel your credit card, if they recieve a charge from these magazine company's they will open your account back up as active. I also sent every magazine back as refused and cancel but the readers club said they had prepaid the subscrptions and I was responsible for the contract I was recorded saying I would join. These people need to be put in jail or investigated I was stuck with 8 of these what a pain in the &! I told them all I was hiring a Lawyer and put me in collections to but it does not stop them.
I have learned my lesson and will be saying in the beginning my phone # is on the do not call list and will be turning them in to that site in hopes they get fined enought to ruin them. I hope this helps at least one person so they don't get taken with these fraudulent company's.
