Global Contact Centers
Ripoff telemarketing company. Globalcontactcenters.com or buyerst.com are scam websites. Buyer beware Boston

We contacted Benjamin Leviton with Global Contact Centers in June regarding a marketing campaign. He agreed to supply 50 marketing leads that met strict guidelines and 50 "bonus" leads. The bonus leads were supposed to be incomplete applications or leads that had missing data fields. For this service, we paid $2750 upfront. Ben insisted we wire the money upfront (should have been my first clue).

When we started receiving the leads, I was immediately concerned because the leads were very low quality. Almost none of them met the criteria and many of them didn't even speak English. It became evident that the information on the leads were fraudulent and Ben kept promising to replace any leads that did not meet our standards.

We went back and forth several times with all kinds of issues ranging from one of their telesales reps "Sophie" who was also manipulating data on other clients leads to "data" issues they needed to resolve on their end. Each time, Ben assured me that we would get our money's worth and that they would make good on the campaign.

Once they had sent us 50 leads they told us our campaign was over and stopped sending us leads. I sent Ben a spreadsheet showing him all of the leads sent and the result of each lead. The result of the campaign was that only 6 of the 50 leads were valid and Ben told me that because of all the problems, he was going to start my campaign over from the begining and personally monitor it for quality. The sent me a few additional leads then cut me off and stopped returning my phone calls and emails. I never received any of the bonus leads and they still owe me about 38 qualified leads.

The 800-548-1970 number for his company is an auto attendant that can only forward a call to Ben's line and since he wouldn't return my call I tried to get a hold of someone through the website. The "contact us" page leads to an error page. I tried to send an email to the "email us" link and I got an automated email back saying the Ben Leviton would contact us shortly (he never did). I found a "corporate management" page that listed all the "corporate officers" but I tried emailing them and never heard back from anyone. That is when I realized that this company is a total sham. It is my belief that it is a one man shop that utilizes wholesale telemarking centers then resells the low quality leads at a top quality price.

Bottom line is that I called Ben and emailed him dozens and dozens of times with my concerns between July and October. He never got back with me but on the rare occasion that he answered his line before checking the caller ID, he always promised to make things right and never did. Do not send this company any money because you will not ever see it again. There are probably a lot of companies out there that can walk away from $2750 but that is a lot of money to me (like two month worth of marketing) and the lack of return meant that I was unable to market the rest of the year. They put me in a very bad situation but since they have my money they don't even care.

I did a bunch of research and found out that this guy has duped others in the past and he seems to change his company name maybe when the complaints pile up to high. He even keeps the same 800 number because we googled it and found it as a different company. Just seems like the whole operation is a sham. I have emails from him agreeing to replace the leads and I have very detailed records of what they sent me. Fair is fair and I gave them every opportunity to deliver what they agreed. I believe that their lack of action represents a breach of contract and if I can show that they never intended to deliver what was promised (which I believe I can) that making us wire the money upfront might even represent wire fraud. I only want my money back on what they did not deliver. I demand satisfaction.
