I am soooo disappointed in Averitt. I was impressed by their high standards buttttttt. They do not tell everything a person needs to know to get on board in a timely matter. After graurateing Kim kept posponeing The job orintation. When I finally got there I found out I had to go back thru a sleep study since I had one several years ago. It takes months to get in to sleep studies leaving me without a paying job during that time. I would not of had a problem with this if they would told me so I could have had it done instead of waiting a month to tell be after I was suppose to be working.
Not only have I not had a paying job, they have failed to pay me the week of orenitation pay. When I called after not recieving it they told me they held back a week since I was considered to be on medical hold. Guess what... Still no pay. Why? They sent it to a street address and not my P.O. Box. They said they remailed it and I still don't have a check. So much for taking care of their employees, my family"s Christmas has been ruint not to mension being in the hole.
I really believe that upper managment does everything they can to have a good company. I met some really great people at Averitt and I am not putting them done. But some of the others really drop the ball on the lower end of management and the new employees are getting a bad deal.
