In June in good faith, I gave these people $950 of my hard earned money to help me promote the speaking side of my business. Half the money was for a membership in the organization. The other half was to promote me specifically to their list of 12,000 event planners. Six months later, they have lied to me about the promotion. The sent me a "proof" of the mailer, but there is no contact information on it. There are four other people included in the proof, but not one of them is a speaker in the same topic area as I am. I contacted those four people, and not only didn't any of them pay for that promotion, but two of them have paid for other promotions, and they never received their services either. Further, I know another person who paid for this particular promotion, and she is not included in the proof.
