I tryed to get a "free credit report" through this company and failed to obtain any report much less confirmation as to why I didn't recieve one. I promptly closed my "accont" and was billed 29.95 for three months without my consent or knowledge. I was also billed seperatly 1.00 on all three occasions as well. I called the 877-993-6264 toll free # that just happened to be on my credit card bill... Don't know why.
No other phone numbers show up next to the company name on any other of my so called charges. Just theirs. Why? Maybe because there are more than just me wanting to call these people. I then talked to a woman that informed me that she would "close MY account" that I didn't know I even had and refund me my 29.95 and 1.00 for that month.
I then hung up the phone and decided to check my older bills. That is when I found that I had been shook down for the two prior months for the same 29.95 and 1.00 charges.in all it came to 92.50 that AP9 Privacy Matters had without my knowledge and concent taken from my credit card account.
I then called back and was passed on to a Supervisor. Carlos #18228 then told me in a very unprofessional manner that I would not be recieving a full refund and would only recieve 29.95 and 1.00 of the 92.85 that ap9P.M. Had stolen from my credit card account. I have to wait and see if I even get the 30.85 credited back to my account. If you multiply what this company and others in their "company Family" are doing then I can only see prison time in their ceo's future!
I can't believe in todays America that we can just sit on our hands and let these people get away with this. My wife has Lung Cancer and isn't expected to live a long time we need every dime we make to go to help her live. We are going to Chemo once every 3 weeks and I just wanted to check my credit score to see if I could get a loan to help with our medical expenses. Then we get this on top of all of our other problems. I hope Privacy Matters is proud of themselves!
