I was married in September. I made my first payment installment in April and the final payment in August.
The videographer showed up to the wedding and did a wonderful job of taping our special day. We have pictures of him doing his job.
I began emailing Taylor Hayden directly on Nov. 14 inquiring about my videos. I was first told that he was going through a rough time and that his fiance left him.in Dec. 2004 I contacted him once again and this time I was told that he had been robbed.
My emails continued every few weeks to no avail. He told me that "Videographers work is non-refundable" and I could just try suing him. This is a brief explanation that he gave me in an email: "I have not avoided you or your emails, written you back every time within an hour. We are not scaming you. Why in the world would we show up and film your entire wedding and reception then not pass it onto you? You make no sense. It's only been 4 months (less) once you have them you will watch them mabye twice in you life time."
Another email he sent: I will be honest and tell you what happened. My ex-girlfriend stole the money I was going to pay the Videographer with. So, it took me several months to make the money back to pay him, now he's taking his sweet time to mail me the videos. I just called him and gave him up to 2 weeks to get me the videos or I would give my lawyer, AND you all his contact information.
That's just the truth, so we will see what happens. Your videos are fine, it's just a matter of me getting them now, please, if you don't hear from me within 2 weeks, contact me again and I will take it to the next step.

The previous email was sent to me on 4/24/05. I was verbally accousted by him numerous times after that and this was the last email that I received from him on 5/31/05: Ok Heather, I paid your Videographer in full and have proff of paying him. He was supposed to send me the videos to send you and has not done this, I contacted him and he did not return my calls. I will turn you on him. You may ned to have him served legal papers. I contacted Darryl and was told that he would send me the videos then he just up and dissappeared. I did file a complaint against the company through the IFFFBI.
I have never heard from Taylor Hayden again. Every day that passes takes me further and further from my video. There are so many memories in that video that I have lost. My grandpa was in the video... He died a few months later. That was his only trip to my home.
It is amazing what this man has done and seems to continue to do. He stole from me in more ways than one.
