For all of you wanting to sell your books for a little more cash than the university bookstore, BE CAREFUL about Beat the Bookstore!
I sold my books to this company, which gives either an immeadiate in-store credit, or, if you want cash, you have to wait a month. Waited my month or so, and find the store locked and closed down. Apparently the owner just closed! When I called the main company, they indicated they would give no firm details about when my money would be returned (I said "within the next year, and they said they couldn't give an answer to that!). They talked about needing to work with owner and get the details. Imagine if you went to your bank and they were closed and told you they weren't sure when they would return your money.
Moral of the story, even if you get a bit less, sell them to the University bookstore and you can walk out with your cash that day, rather than waiting until...
