Worst moving company! I received a decent estimate over the phone. The movers walked into my apartment and right away told me the quantity of my contents was much higher. I asked them how they would measure the exact amount and was told: it was experience. I've tried to question this practice several times with customer service but never received a response. Then all kinds of charges were added to my bill. The best was the 'threat' that either I have everything wrapped in clear foil or things will break (I have a witness for this statement). It was $12.00 a piece and guess what, even though clear foil protects like magic, almost every single piece of furniture was busted in the end... Imagine!!! To make a long story short, my storage rate changed 3 times, 2 pieces of furniture were missing, almost every single piece of furniture was damaged and the moving expenses double by the time I received my items. I'm writing this complaint now that I have my items in my possession, because right away they didn't make a big secret of using your valuables against you. My recommendation: stay away from this place as far as you can, otherwise you'll experience the worst moving experience in your life. Reading about similar experiences with Moving Star California LLC I can see a pattern! It's too late for me but maybe I can safe someone the headache.
