Attention College Students! This message is for everyone who is considering working for Vector/Cutco. All of these posts keep repeating the same thing, that it is impossible to make any real money. Well, reverse the situation to your favor. They state that they pay $15 per appointment right? Well, set up bogus appointments. Look in the phone book and get the names/addresses of real people (but DO NOT contact these people) Instead, call in from a different number (even from your dorm room/building and pretend that you are with Mr & Mrs so-in-so. Really you are by yourself. Tell your manager that they did not want to make a purchase. Remember, Cutco states "No pushy sales techniques". Repeat this tip over and over throughout the same day.
Bingo! You made 8-10 appointments per day times $15/appt = $120-$150 per day. You sold nothing, nada. And you made $120-150 per day. You didn't have to confront your friends and family. Basically, they have been ripping students off for the past 25 years. Use this advice and give them some of their own medicine. I'd like to hear how it goes.
