We purchased this travel service from Florida Sports and Recreation (FSR) for $4443 plus a $140 yearly membership fee. The company promises huge savings on travel related services such as golf, air fare, car rental, condo rentals, and cruises.
When checking rates, (it takes up to 15 days to do so, which is past the cancellation period) we found no savings.in fact many of our purchases would have cost more than the general public would pay through AAA, travelocity, AARP, etc.
During their presentation, various travel agencies like the ones just mentioned are mentioned as offering rates far in excess as FSR's. Fact is these other companies are usually cheaper.
At no time were we told of the 7-15 day period of time we'd have to wait before being able to check FSR's rates. This time frame exceeds the 3 day recision period.
They promise a Cadillac but deliver a Yugo.
