On 5/15/97 Securitas was the worst company I worked for in my life. The moment I started the job it was a nightmare. The account was a union account. They refused to give many people there breaks, when a person asked for there break they where told they were being insubordinate and written up for in subordinate. I can count 4 sexual harassment cases against this company.
On 6/10/00 one of the guards actually pi*ed in my cup of coffee Actually note: there was four guards in the office at the time. Management that is worthless Securitas and Universal management did nothing. Note the Site I worked for was Universal Studios. Out of 10 years myself I can say they would owe me over $2,000 in breaks well over 162 half breaks and overtime. Like a foul I should of sued though I was one step of being homeless. So it made it hard.
The union was a weak Union the members weaked themself when they said they wanted a strike. Then they got scared and order for another vote. They lost the raise and half there benefits. So, the union was out of the question for help.
Securitas does not care they are a foreign company, what is sad is there guarding nuclear power sight and other faculitys that no foreign company should operate. One bad hire watch out. Any corporation who hire's securitas is a foul and asking for trouble.
