LAte delivery? No product? Still waiting false promises

I have been waiting for over 8 weeks for my book to arrive. Where is it?

I paid $94.00us and have been patiently waiting to see my poem and name in a book of poetry. I have received numerous invitations to conventions numerous other pieces of mail from poetry.com and international society of poets (who are they anyhow?) to attend numerous functions because I will receive a special honour for my "outstanding" poem.

After coming across this site and reading others like myself who have been duped into false promises, I realise that Poetry.com is a well thought-out carefully scripted scam.

It starts with the first submission, you forget you ever submitted a poem online, suddenly you receive a personalised piece of mail, indicating that your poem has been selected for publication (the excitement mounts), you then proceed to read the mail front to back to ensure you understand all it entails
when you are finished, you confirm the letter by responding with, "yes this is exactly how I would like my poem to be published" and send it back, then you receive another letter which explains the types of binding, styles of book, categories of poetry etc. (the excitement gains momentum) so instead of sending a cheque, you pay online with your credit card (big mistake) sure they have the little secure lock logo bottom right corner, so you feel secure. Payemtn is accepted and now ytou wait. A short while later, you receive a special invitation to a spectacular event to honour your poem, in the US, all paid for by you, airfare, transfers, hotel, food, etc. (an unplanned vacation) triple the normal price. You choose not to go, but you still patiently await the arrival of your newly purchased book? But now you begin to wonder if this was a scam.
Well, let's say, wait all you want. If it ever does arrive, will it be photcopies and bound by staples?

I guess even the best of us get scammed by the best of them!
