We purchased a Male French Bulldog from Evonne in May. We were told the puppy was 11 weeks old and that it came from Europe. We were provided a puppy sales contract (Health guarantee). We did as the guarantee stated and took the dog to our vet the next day. The puppy had severe worms and eventually we found out that he had giardia (from drinking contaminated water) we treated the dog from several ailments (skin, worms etc.) The dog is now in good health. We waited for the papers, never came, we called Evonne and she said she would check on it, we waited... No papers. After numerous emails telling me to be blessed and patient, I have finally ran out of patience. We have asked for the breeder information which she will not provide. We have finally contacted an attorney and after reading the numerous complaints against this person, we will file a lawsuit. Fortunately we did pay by check and we have her signature on the contract. We purchased the puppy for $1850. With full breeding rights. Without papers, the breeding value is 0. As so many persons had filed complaints, it might be a good idea to contact the Attorney General of Texas. Also, has anyone contacted the AKC about this breeder - it is possible that they could sanction her for bad acts. I am sorry to hear of everyone's troubles, but now I know that it is worth the time and money to sue her for the cost of the dog.
She has finally met her match. Anyone that wishes to join in on the lawsuit please make a posting. I have already hired an attorney - who also happens to be quite the dog lover!
