I had enquired about Sure step and they told me that they were a member of the BBB. After checking I found that they in fact had complaints filed against them that were not settled and they werent a member in Florida or in Canada where they are from.
I also did a little checking with the State Attorney for the state of Florida and as it turns out they took money from an elderly man and werent going to refund it until the state stepped in. The state of Florida said that up until that point they werent even registered in the state and to the states knowledge they were again in violation for selling territories.
The state said that they were'nt allowed to do that and If I sent them information they could order a cease and desist for doing business in th U.S. They have a race car picture on their website and after further inspection the guy doesnt have a race schedule and when he did race, he only raced in and around the North or South Dakotas. This they said would bring me a lot of business?
Im in California, how is that going to help me. This is where they are spending their advertising dollars? I would be very very surprised if there really is a race car and trailer with the sure step logo. It looks more and more like a huge scam by another Canadian firm. I would call the Attorney general in your state before doing business with these guys. If there a Franchise, then why cant I find a single one of their Franchisees online?
