On June 7, I ordered a box of gourmet cookies to be delivered to my brother for his birthday on June 9.
Although I gave my brother's contact telephone number, the box of cookies was simply left on the ground outside his front door. When he returned home, he found the box of cookies covered in ants.
Considering I paid an $18 delivery charge and considering the product is a food item, I would have expected someone to make a simple telephone call to ensuer someone was home before leaving it outside. At the very least, the delivery person should have left the product in the apartment building office.
On June 11, I contacted customer service and requested a replacement delivery or a full refund, including delivery charges ($39.05).
On June 12, Sherry Woolverton from the company responded that she would contact the "shoppe" that delivered the cookies and "discuss" my complaint.
I never heard back so I followed up on June 20, demanding a full refund of $39.05.
On June 21, I received another response from Sherry Woolverton indicating she would follow up and back to me "asap."
Unfortunately, that never happened so here it is July 3, nearly a month later.
No cookies, no refund - nothing but an embarrasing birthday gift.
