On Friday, April 13, I ordered three products online from www.buynaturalskincare.com. The website reports that shipment should be received within 5 to 7 business days.
By May 7, I contacted Buy Natural Skin Care to report that my products were not yet in receipt. They checked their shipment department while I called the Post Office. The Post Office had nothing on hold for me. I received a telephone call back from Buy Natural Skin Care and learnt that they determined that the product was delivered.
I called the post office again and was told that the postman in my neighborhood would double check. The same came back from the post office, that they had nothing for me and that maybe it was put in the wrong lockbox and the receiver did not return it.
I spoke to Gary Kleysteuber via email several times ([email protected]) and was told they could do nothing for me, that maybe a neighbor took the products and it was out of their hands. Further they claim that on their website it says they are not responsible for lost items if a third agent was used in the delivery. Also, they use as a perk for potential buyers that shipping is free.
The former does not prevent them from being responsible for delivery of product. Further, regarding the latter, as the responsible shipper they must ensure the products are indeed received. I relied on them to send it to me in good faith. If they want to claim "no responsibility" due to the third party delivery agent (whatever that means) then they should have ensure that my signature was required.
Because $180 is a lot of money for me, I claimed that as the shipper they must ensure that I receive the product and requested them to reship the items via ups where a signature from either me or someone in my house would have to sign for the products. They first said sorry if a neighbor took my items, then no to the latter and concluded with a "good luck".
The Order No. Is 10498 and I had ordered three items: Stonecrop Face Cream, Eight Greens Face Cream, and eye cream, all for $60 each. Again, the purchase date was April 27 and the Problem Date was May 7, when I called to report that the products were not yet in receipt. The payment amount was $180 and payment method was via my Bank of America debit/visa card. Thank you for anything you can do.
