Here are some cold hard facts that hopefully will make YOU, as a potential client think twice before using the services of "United Roofing " owned by Eric Larsson. My facts can save you the time, grief, misery, shoddy workmanship, threats, & profanity that we had to deal with recently.
The services (if that's what you want to call them) are very less than professional at the least.
On more than one occasion, this so called company had to return to my home to fix things that were never done right to begin with on the roof. A professional, would have done the job right the first time. The workers seem to have been plucked out of a local bar & put to work before they were sober enough to do the job right. That, or they weren't trained to begin with. Rotten wood was left around my chimney. That had to be replaced after shingles had already been applied once. 20' of ridge vent was cut & installed improperly. Shingles were placed over bad plywood. They had to come out & put in new plywood & then decided any color of shingle would do. Needless to say, they didn't match & had to come out again & try to remedy this problem. The shingles still don't quite match.
At least they no longer totally clash. However, they are defective. The roof wasn't done properly & still isn't. Those are just a few of the problems we encountered. Enough to give you the general idea. The company had the nerve to want us to pay extra for the times they came out to try to repair all of the damage they did to begin with.
This company that wanted their money so bad, promised to come by & get the money order we had waiting for them as promised. They didn't show up. This morning, my girlfriend got a not so friendly wake up call from Eric. He was threatening her & using profanity. Very unprofessional! When he was done being as rude as he possibly could, he hung up on her. I, personally called him to find out why he felt it was necessary to talk to my girlfriend in that manner & he hung up on me.
We went to the company today & paid these so called human beings their undeserved money. Basically, what we did today was to pay to be verbally abused & threatened. And we paid for more than likely the worst job on a roof ever done. We should have been the ones making threats & using profanity.
Please think about all of the problems we encountered as hard working, honest people before this company rips you off for your hard earned money & then verbally abuses you as their "thank you" for messing up your roof. I in NO WAY could recommend thier services!
