We called American Legal Services. They told us that for $150 US, they would get us in contact with a lawyer 24/7. They said that the lawyer would help us with paperwork and other services.
We paid the $150 US at a Western Union. We paid by Money order. We called to confirm that it was sent.
Since then we have heard nothing. No lawyer has called us to help with paper work. Casey, the investigator, has not returned our phone calls. The 1800 number that says (24) no longer answers the phone. We leave messages and never get return calls.
