We called cingulair wireless/z wireless for a free phone which we had recieved a flyer advertising this phone. Upon receipt of the phone, the phone number was incorrect. We called the company requesting that they remedy the situation and encountered resistance. The company was told that the phone was going to be mailed back to them.
We went straight to the post office and mailed the phone back to the address which i do not currently remember. Within a few days, we called and checked the status - delivered.
It was sent back and received by the company— was never activated. And now i am sitting here in my office looking at a 406.43 bill from a collection agency.
The collection agency is out of california and is called afni, inc. I looked them up online and found that they had fraudulent claims against them as well.
How do we fight and win against these people! This stuff ruins credit.
